Why I love March: Spring Weather

Disclaimer: This blog is apart of my "Why I love March series" where I will blog about reasons I love March. Even though March isn't my favorite month, they're some great aspects of the arising spring time and I will blog about them collectively over the month of March. Enjoy.

The cold of Iowa really gets to you sometimes but then again, living in Iowa will end up getting to you at least once. For people outside of Iowa who aren't familiar with Iowan climate, well it kind of sucks. The climate is typical Midwest climate with the most inconsistent temperature rises and drops. I remember snowfalls in April, and 70 degree weather in December before. But regularly, we just have long, snowy, and hard winters, pleasant springs, hot summers, and cold falls. Once month is always a toss-up with what you will get, that month is March. March can sometimes be cold, rainy, or snowy or it can be delightful pleasant and 60-70 degree weather. This year, spring came early as all of March has been pretty beautiful. Every year, March is the pleasant glimpse of spring each year.

Why do I love spring weather?

Spring weather is the changing of moods for most people. Winter is often seen as a depressing time, where the sun is only present probably once or twice a week, and not for very long. Spring, brings people out of that depression and really just opens up a world of new opportunities. Spring is also an exploitation of nature at its finest. As the dirty white snow fades away and the green grass arises, something so pleasant is boring. Spring only brings the best of nature and with spring comes so much. It seems like with spring comes a whole new happiness and always brings back a nostalgia of happiness. That is the reason I love spring and March.
